1. INTRODUCTION |

In this package, you will find a keychain transmitter with 12V alkaline battery and a wireless switch receiver.

2.INSTALLATION
1Plug the receiver into a powered, 120VAC electrical outlet inside your house. (Note: This receiver is designed to be used indoor only. Do not use this receiver in an outdoor environment.)
2Once the receiver is plugged into an electrical outlet, the red LED on the front of the unit will be “on” indicating the unit is in standby mode.
3Plug in the light fixture or small appliance that you would like to control into the receiver, as shown.
4If there is a power switch on the plugged in light fixture or small appliance, please turn it on. The receiver is ready to be activated.
5Pressing the appropriate button will turn on the plugged in device and the red LED on the front will flash. (Caution: When the red LED on the unit is flashing, that means output outlet is powered. Do not disconnect / connect devices from / to the receiver’s outlet when the red LED is flashing.)
3.PROGRAM A TRANSMITTER TO THE RECEIVER
The transmitter in this kit has been programmed to the receiver in the factory. You need to do the programming only if you add additional transmitters to the receiver.
1Plug the receiver into an electrical socket.
2Press and hold the learn button on the left hand side of the receiver. The red LED on the receiver will flash.
3Simultaneously, press your assigned button (either button A or B) of the transmitter you want to program to the receiver.
6. BATTERY
12 volt alkaline battery (size 23A) (included).
It is time to change the battery when the red LED on the transmitter does not turn on when either button is pressed.
7. ADDITIONAL RECEIVER
There are 2 buttons on your transmitter, the other button can be used to control another Skylink® Garage Door Receiver Model 18R (sold separately) or Skylink® Wireless Switch Receiver Model
8. ADDITIONAL TRANSMITTER
You can add up to 15 transmitters as you want to control the same receiver. Simply program the transmitters to the receiver. Skylink® offers Keychain Transmitter Model 18T4 to w ork with your receiver. For more information, please visit our website at www.skylinkhome.com or contact us.

The receiver red LED will go off indicates the programming is completed.
To program the transmitter to control another receiver, repeat process (1) to (4) but pressing another button (A or B).

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does causeharmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
-Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
-Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
-Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
-Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
11. WARRANTY
If, within one year from date of purchase, this product should become defective (except battery), due to faulty workmanship or materials, it will be repaired or

4. REMOVE TRANSMITTER FROM THE RECEIVER
You can delete the transmitter from a receiver.
1Unplug the receiver from the electrical socket.
2Press and hold the learn button on the left hand side of the receiver when plugging the receiver into an electrical socket, the red LED on the receiver will flash rapidly. All the transmitters are deleted.
5.OPERATION

To activate the receiver, simply press the appropriate button on the transmitter, it will activate the plugged in device. Pressing it again will turn off the plugged in device.
