Cleaning the refrigerator compartment
Defrosting of the refrigerator compartment is completely automatic.
Droplets of water on the rear wall of the refrigerator compartment indicate that the periodic automatic defrost cycle is in progress. The defrost water is automatically routed to a drain outlet and into a container from which it evaporates.
Clean the defrost water drain outlet regularly using the tool supplied with the appliance in order to ensure defrost water is removed correctly.
To clean the refrigerator compartment:
1.Press button (5) on the control panel for 3 seconds.
2.Empty the refrigerator compartment.
3.Clean the inside of the refrigerator with a sponge soaked
in lukewarm water and/or neutral detergent. Do not use abrasive substances.
4.Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
5.Press button (5) again for 3 seconds to reactivate refrigerator operation.
The crisper drawer lid is removable for easy cleaning. To remove the lid, release the side locks as shown in figure 4. To replace the lid, proceed in the same way.
Note:
If the compartment is not used for prolonged periods, it is advisable to leave the refrigerator door open to prevent the formation of mould, bad odours and oxidation.
