INITIAL SETUP & ASSEMBLY

Prepare the Deck, Belt Cover, & Support Arm Assembly

1.Remove the mower deck from the tractor. Refer to he tractor operator’s manual for mower installation and removal procedures.

2.Remove the deflector (A, Figure 1) and correspond- ing mounting hardware from deck. Also Remove the left side belt cover (C). Clean all mounting holes.

3.Assemble the hinge (E) to the new belt cover (A) using hardware provided (D, F) as shown in Figure 2.

Insert the knob (B) through the cover (A) and secure with 5/16 push nut (G). Assemble the belt cover (A) and knob (B) to the left-hand mower cover (C).

Install Stacked Arbor Pulley

1.Roll the mower drive belt off the left arbor pulley.

2.Remove the left side arbor pulley by blocking the left- hand mower blade with a wood block and removing the arbor pulley capscrew. Discard the capscrew but retain the other hardware.

3.See Figure 5. Install the double stacked pulley (A) from turbo kit, with the larger pulley on the bottom. Use the longer capscrew (B) supplied with the kit along with the original hardware.

4.Block the mower blade with wood and tighten cap- screw to 50-70 ft. lbs. (68-76 Nm).

5.Re-install the mower drive belt on the lower pulley.
