Metering Mode: Selecting the metering mode

Selects the metering mode that sets which part of the subject to measure to determine the exposure.

(Metering Mode) button

Each time you press (Metering Mode) button, the metering mode changes in the order of

(Multi) t (Center) t (Spot).

 

 

 

 

(Multi)

Divides into multiple regions and measures each region. The

When using spot metering or center-weighted metering, setting [Focus] to [Center AF] is recommended to focus on the metering position (page 45).

You can select the metering mode only when [Face Detection] is set to [Off].
