The DVDirect supports the following types of “Memory Stick.” However, proper operation is not
guaranteed for all “Memory Stick” products.

Notes on using “Memory Stick”

If you slide the write-protect switch to LOCK with a fine-tipped object, you canno t record, edit, or
delete images.
Insert a “Memory Stick” into the Mu lti memory card slot, and insert a “M emory Stick Duo” into the
Memory Stick Duo slot. When inserting a “Memory Stick Duo” with an adapter into the Multi memory
card slot, the DVDirect may not work properly.
Not all memory card operations are supported with card adapters.
Use your camera to format the “Memory Stick.” When forma tted on a computer, “Memory Stick” may
not work properly.
The position and shape of the write-protect switch may differ depending on the “Memory Stick” you
use.
Do not remove the “Memory Stick” while recording or when the Memory card access LED is on.
Data may be corrupted if:
- the “Memory Stick” is removed or the DVD irect is turned off while reading data, or
- the “Memory Stick” is used in locations subject to static electricity or electrical noise.

The memory card slot of the DVDirect does not support capacities exceeding 32 Gbytes. Even if you insert
such a card into the camera’s memory card slot and connect the camera to the DVDirect with the USB cable,
recording will not be available (as of January 2010).
