Self-Diagnosis Function
When the self-diagnosis function is activated
to prevent the player from malfunctioning, an
error code appears in the front panel display,
or just appears without any messages on
the entire screen.
In these cases, check the following.

authorized Sony service facility.

FAN ERR • Check that the ventilation
holes on the rear of the player
are not blocked.
• Place the player in a location
with adequate ventilation to
prevent heat build-up in the
player.
