Sound is unstable. •The Position Contr ol function of your TV is enabled. For details on disabling
the function, refer to the operating instructions of your TV.
Noise is heard from front
speakers or sound from the front
speakers skips.
•Wirele ss transmission is unstable. Change the [RF Channel] setting in
[Wireless Sound Connection] (page 55).
•Install the main unit and subwoofer closer to each other.
•Do not ins tall the main unit and subwoofer in a closed rac k, on a metal rack, or
under a table.
Symptom Problems and solutions
Radio stations cannot be tuned
in.
•Check tha t the antenna (aerial) is connected securely. Adjust th e antenna
(aerial) or connect an external anten na (aerial) if necessary.
•The signal stren gth of the stations is too weak (when tuning in with automatic
tuning). Use direct tuning.
Symptom Problems and solutions
The disc does not play. •The region code on the BD/DVD does not match the system.
•Moisture ha s condensed inside the main unit and may cause damage to the
lenses. Remove the disc and leave the main unit turned on for about half an
hour.
•The system cannot play a recorded disc that is not correctly finalized (page75).
File names are not displayed
correctly.
•The system can onl y display ISO 8859-1-compliant character formats. Other
character formats may be displayed differently.
•Depending on the writing software used, the input characters may be displayed
differently.
A disc does not start playing
from the beginning.
•Resume play has been selected. Press OPTIONS and select [Play from start],
then press .
Playback does not start from the
resume point where you last
stopped playing.
•The resume point may be cleared from memory depending on the disc when
– you eject the di sc.
– you disconnect the USB device.
– you play other content.
– you turn off the main unit.
The language for the soundtrack/
subtitle or angles cannot be
changed.
•Try using t he BD’s or DVD’s menu.
•Multi-lingu al tracks/subtitles or multi-angles are not r ecorded on the BD or
DVD being played.
Bonus contents or other data that
are contained in a BD-ROM
cannot be played.
•Try the fo llowing: 1 Remove the disc. 2 Turn the system off. 3 Remove and
reconnect the USB device (page37). 4 Turn the system on. 5 Insert the BD-
ROM with BONUSVIEW/BD-LIVE.
