1 During playback or radio reception, press (MENU).

2 Press (DISC) (+) or (DISC) (–) repeatedly until “HPF” appears.

3 Press (SEEK) (+) or (SEEK) (–) to select the cut-off frequency.

Each time you press (SEEK) (+) or (SEEK) (–), the frequency changes as follows:OFF (default setting) y 80 Hz y 120 Hz

4 Press (MENU).

After the frequency setting is complete, the display returns to normal play mode.

Adjusting the volume of the subwoofer(s)

1 Press (SOURCE) to select a desired source.

2 Press (SOUND) repeatedly until “SUB” appears.

3 Press the volume +/– button repeatedly to adjust the volume of front/rear speakers.

When adjusting with the card remote commander, press (SOUND), then press (SEEK) (+) or (SEEK) (–).

After 3 seconds, the display returns to normal play mode.

Tip

The volume level is adjustable from –10 dB to +10 dB. (Below –10 dB, “SUB-ATT” is displayed.)

Adjusting the cut-off frequency for the subwoofer(s)

To match the characteristics of the connected subwoofer(s), you can cut out the unwanted high and middle frequency signals entering the subwoofer(s). By setting the cut-off frequency (see the diagram below), the subwoofer(s) will output only low frequency signals so you can get a clearer sound image.

You can select one of 7 colour settings for the LCD.

Press (COLOR) repeatedly to select the desired LCD colour.

Each time you press (COLOR), the LCD colour changes.
