Adjusting the Screen

Changing the aspect ratio

1Press LCD MODE/BRT.

Each time you press LCD MODE/BRT,

the screen type changes 16:9 4:3  screen off.

Tip

When you listen to music, you can save the battery power by turning the screen off.

Adjusting the picture quality

You can adjust [BRIGHTNESS], [CONTRAST] and [HUE] of the screen.

1Keep LCD MODE/BRT pressed until [BRIGHTNESS] appears.

2Press LCD MODE/BRT repeatedly to select the item you want to adjust.

Each time you press LCD MODE/BRT, the adjustment item changes in the order

of [BRIGHTNESS] [CONTRAST]  [HUE].

3Adjust the items using /.

Item		
BRIGHT-	to darken	to brighten
NESS

CONTRAST	to soften	to sharpen

HUE	to make reddish	to make greenish

Tip

The adjustment screen disappears after a few seconds. If you want to turn it off at once, keep LCD MODE/BRT pressed.
