Inspect the O-ring and the O-ring mating surface in a location that is free from sand, dust or moisture.

aBefore opening the waterproof cover, rinse off any sand and completely wipe away any water that may be present on the camera body.

•Sand or water getting inside the camera may cause a malfunction.

bOpen the waterproof cover.
