Charging by connecting to a computer
The batlery pack canbe charged by connecling the camera to a computer using
amulti-use terminal USB cable.
m• Note the fnllnwing points when charging via a computer:
lfthe camera is connected to a laptop computer that isnot connected to a power
source, the laptnp battery level decreases. Do not charge loran extended period
oftime.
Do not turn on/nff nr restart thecomputer, nr wake thecomputer resume fl'om
sleep mode whena USB connection hasbeen established between the computer
and thecamera. The camera may cause a malfimctinn. Before turning nn/off, or
restarting the computer nrwaking the computer fl'omsleep mode, disconnect the
camera alld tilecnmputer.
No guarantees aremade lot charging using a custnm=built computer or a
modified computer.
Charging time
The charging time is approximately 270 rain. using the AC Adaptor
(supplied).
• Theabove charging time applies when charging afully depleted battery pack at a
temperature nf25°C (77°F). Charging may take longer depending onconditions of
use and circumstances.
