Macro/Close focus
Use this setting to capture beautiful
1 Lower the lens cover to switch to shooting mode.

(Auto) | The camera adjusts the focus automatically from distant subjects to |

| • Normally, put the camera in this mode. |
(Macro On) The camera adjusts the focus with priority on
| • Setting the zoom all the way to the W side is recommended. |
(Close focus Use this mode to shoot at even closer distances than Macro | |

Notes
•The Auto Focus speed becomes slower when you shoot images in the Macro or Close focus mode.
•You cannot select (Macro On) when the camera is in Intelligent Auto Adjustment mode.
•Macro mode is fixed to (Auto) when the camera is in Movie Mode or Smile Shutter.
•Note the following points when using the Close focus mode.
–You cannot use the Scene Recognition or Face Detection functions.
–This mode is cancelled if you turn off the power or switch the shooting mode to another one.
–The flash mode settings you can use in this mode are (Flash On) or (Flash Off) only.
