When playing a DVD

You can use the Vocal Support function only with the Dolby Digital Karaoke format.

Press VOCAL SUPPORT while playing a disc in karaoke mode. To cancel the Vocal Support function, press VOCAL SUPPORT again.

When playing a VIDEO CD or CD

Press VOCAL SUPPORT while playing a disc in karaoke mode. To cancel the Vocal Support function, press VOCAL SUPPORT again.

zYou can turn the Vocal Support function on and off using “VOCAL SUPPORT” in the Karaoke Control Menu display

Select “VOCAL SUPPORT” in the Karaoke Control Menu display (page 47), select “ON” or “OFF” using M/m, and then press

ENTER.

When the Vocal Support function is set to ON, you can change the guide vocal by pressing VOCAL SELECT. See “Selecting the Vocals” (page 51).

Notes

When you turn the Vocal Support function on, the Vocal function is automatically turned off (page 50).

When switching the recorded vocal and your vocal while playing a Super VCD, the sound may cut off for a moment.

Turning the Guide Melody On and Off (Guide Melody)

You can listen to the guide melody.

Select “GUIDE MELODY” in the Karaoke Control Menu display. To turn the guide melody on, select “ON” using M/m, and then press ENTER. To cancel the guide melody, select “OFF” using M/m, and then press ENTER.

Notes
