When the player is in the pause mode, press

locate a point in the playback direction, or press

to

locate a point in the opposite direction. When you find the point you want, press H to return to the normal playback speed.

Each time you press the or button during Slow-motion play, the playback speed changes. Two speeds are available. With each press, the display changes as follows:

Playback direction

SLOW1 y SLOW2

Opposite direction (DVD only)

SLOW1 y SLOW2

The SLOW2 /SLOW2 playback speed is slower than SLOW1 /SLOW1 .

Locating a point quickly (Search)

While a disc is playing, keep pressing #7to locate a point in playback direction at the FF1M* speed or keep pressing '3 to locate a point in opposite direction at the FR1m* speed. When you find the point you want, release the button to return to normal playback speed.

*The FF1M/FR1m playback speed is the same as the scan speed described below.

Playing a disc frame by frame

You can use this function only for DVDs or VIDEO CDs. When the player is in the pause mode, press #7to go to the next frame. Press '3to go to the preceding frame (DVD only). To return to normal playback, press H.

The x2B/x2b playback speed is about twice the normal speed. The FF2M/FR2m playback speed is faster than FF1M/ FR1m.
