Close the Slide Cover after disconnecting the Network Walkman from your computer.

1Push the Slide Cover further to release the USB A plug as shown by the arrow.

2 Push in the USB A

3 Close the Slide Cover.

The Network Walkman is rechargeable when connected to a computer with USB

When the remaining battery indication of the display shows: Full , charging is complete (charging time is approx. 120 minutes*1).

Fully charge the Network Walkman (to Full in the remaining battery indication of the display) before using it for the first time.

*1 This is the approximate charging time when the battery power is low and the “USB” setting (page 40) is “High-500mA” under room temperature. The charging time will vary depending on remaining battery power and battery condition. If the battery is charged in a low-temperature environment, the charging time will be longer. It will also be longer if you transfer audio file(s) to your Network Walkman while charging.

ATRAC3 format (132 kbps): Approximately 50 hours

ATRAC3plus format (48 kbps): Approximately 45 hours

MP3 format (128 kbps): Approximately 40 hours

FM radio reception (NW-E303/E305/E307 only): Approximately 22 hours

*2 This is when the power save setting is “Save ON-Normal” (page 36). The battery duration will vary depending on temperature and usage.

On the remaining battery indication

The battery icon in the display changes as shown below.

The battery power gets low as shown in the battery icon. If “LOW BATTERY” appears, you cannot play back with the Network Walkman. In this case, charge the battery by connecting to your computer.
