The images are recorded on the set media (p. 28). The default settings are shown below.

If the ACCESS lamp (p. 30)/access lamp (p. 32) is lit or flashing after recording is finished, it means data is still being written onto the media. Do not apply shock or vibration to your camcorder, and do not remove the battery or AC Adaptor. Also, do not eject the “Memory Stick PRO Duo” from your camcorder.

When a movie file exceeds 2 GB with setting the media to the internal memory (HDR-UX20) or the “Memory Stick” (p. 28), the next movie file is created automatically.
