BSound options

Emphasizing the bass

sound (Bass Boost)

1 Press and hold MENU/BACK until the Setup menu appears.

2 Rotate the jog dial to select “BASS BOOST.”

3 Push the jog dial repeatedly to select “BASS BOOST ON.”

To return to the original screen

Press MENU/BACK.

To cancel the bass boost

Select “BASS BOOST OFF” in step 3.

Changing the sound

quality (Equalizer)

You can select from the following equalizer settings to obtain the sound quality that best suits your taste.

Setting	Sound quality
NORMAL	normal sound

ROCK	powerful, clean sounds,
	emphasizing low and high range
	audio

POP	light, bright sounds, emphasizing
	high and middle range audio

JAZZ	percussive sounds, making the
	bass and cymbal sound more
	distinct

1 Press and hold MENU/BACK until the Setup menu appears.

2 Rotate the jog dial to select “EQUALIZER.”

3 Push the jog dial repeatedly to select the desired sound quality.

To return to the original screen

Press MENU/BACK.
