Other Recording Operations

When “Add/Overwrite” in the menu is set

to “Add,” you can add a recording to the

file being played back. The added recording

will be placed after the current file, and will

be counted as a part of the file.

Select the file to which you want to add a

recording first.

1Select the (Recording) tab t “Add/

Overwrite” in the menu, and then press

N/ENT.

2Press v or V on the control button to

select “Add,” and then press N/ENT.

“Add/Overwrite” is set to “OFF” when

you purchase the IC recorder.

3Press xSTOP to exit the menu mode.

4When the file to be added is played back,

press zREC/PAUSE.

“Add REC?” will be displayed.

5While “Add REC?” is displayed, press

zREC/PAUSE.

The operation indicator will turn r ed.

Then recording starts.

6To stop recording, press xSTOP.

• You cannot add a re cording when the file has

reached the maximum size limit (2 GB with

LPCM files and 1GB with MP 3 files).

• You cannot add a recording to an LPCM file

or an MP3 file that was not recorded using
