1Select the (Recording) tab t “PRE

REC” in the menu, and then press N/

ENT.

2Press v or V on the control button to

select “ON,” and then press N/ENT.

“PRE REC” is set to “OFF” when you

purchase the IC recorder.

3Press xSTOP to exit the menu mode.

4Select a folder.

5Press and hold zREC/PAUSE.

The IC recorder enters the recording

standby mode.

Pre-recording starts and sounds for a

maximum of the last 5 seconds are

buffered in the memory.

6To start recording, press zREC/

PAUSE.

The standby for recording mode is

released, and recording continues from

the sound buffered in step 5.

7To stop recording, press xSTOP.

• If you start recording with pre-recording

function using the built-in microphones, a

click noise may be recorded when you press

zREC/PAUSE. To record with

pre-recording function, we recommend

using an external microphone.
