While BD/DVD , DVR/VCR and SAT/CABLE buttons are labeled as such, you can still program any of your connected equipment using any one of the buttons regardless of the label. For example, BD/DVD button can be programmed to operate your VCR. If you have a DVD/VCR combo that you want to operate with your TV remote control, you can program with the BD/DVD or DVR/VCR or even the SAT/CABLE , but remember which button you have programmed for your particular use.

To check if the code works

Aim your TV’s remote control at the equipment, and press the green POWER button. If the equipment turns on and off, the programming is completed. If not, try the next code listed.

If no code is input within the above specified time, or an invalid or incorrect code number is input, the remote control automatically goes back to the previous setting.

In some cases, you may not be able to program your remote control to operate other equipment. In such cases, use the equipment’s own remote control.
