Auto 2: Recommended option for viewing programs

 

that have less variation in brightness from

 

scene to scene.

 

 

High

With this option, the screen has maximum level of

 

brightness. It is suitable for TV viewing in a brightly

 

lit room.

 

 

Medium

With this option, the brightness is about the standard

 

level.

 

 

Low

With this option, the screen is dimmed but contrast is

 

at a maximum. It is suitable for TV viewing in a room

 

with low lighting.

When Picture Mode is set to Vivid, Advanced Iris option is automatically set to Auto 1.

Picture

Adjust to increase picture contrast and deepen the color or decrease

 

picture contrast and soften the color.

 

 

Brightness

Adjust to brighten or darken the picture.

 

 

Color

Adjust to increase or decrease color intensity.

 

 

Hue

Adjust to increase or decrease the green tones.

 

 

Color Temp.

Choose from four color temperatures:

White

 

 

Cool

Select to give the white colors a blue tint.

Neutral

Select to give the white colors a neutral tint.

Warm 1, 2 Select to give the white colors a red tint. Available

Sharpness

Adjust to sharpen or soften the picture.

 

 

Noise

Select Auto to reduce the noise level of connected equipment. This

When Digital Channel, Component Input, HDMI Input or Freeze mode is in use, Auto is not available.

DRC Mode High

Creates a high-resolution picture with 4 x density, for

high quality sources (i.e., DVD player, satellite receiver).

Progressive Recommended for still pictures.

DRC Mode is most effective when watching 480i source. DRC Mode is not available when using the Freeze feature; also not available when watching 480p, 720p or 1080i sources.
