Installing and Connecting the LCD Projection TV
Connecting a Digital TV Receiver with Component Connectors
Disconnect all power sources before making any connections.
zBe sure to read the digital TV receiver’s manual.
1Using three separate component video cables, connect the digital TV receiver’s Y, PB and PR jacks to the LCD projection TV. Use the HD/ DVD IN 5 or 6 inputs.
✍The Y, PB and PR jacks do not provide audio, so audio cables must be connected to provide sound.
✍Component video connection is necessary to view 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i formats. For 480i signal, you may also use the S VIDEO or composite video connections, however, component video (Y, PB, PR) will provide the best picture quality for all format types.
2Using audio cables, connect the digital TV receiver’s AUDIO OUT jacks to the LCD projection TV’s AUDIO/VIDEO IN jacks (HD/DVD IN 5 or 6).
