Advanced Video is unavailable when you have selected Mild Mode, or you are watching 1080i, 720p or 480p sources with Video 5 to 7 inputs.

BN Smoother (Block Noise Smoother)

Select to reduce noise caused by the video encoding and decoding process. This is especially effective for watching a DVD or HDTV picture. Select from High, Medium, Low and Off.

Your connected equipment may affect the ability of the BN Smoother to correct the image quality.
