Adjusting the “SOUND” setting

The “SOUND” menu allows you to adjust the sound setting.

2	Press v or V to select
	“SOUND,” then press OK.

3	Press v or V to select the				SOUND
	desired item, and press B				TREBLE
	or b to adjust the value or				RESET

	select the desired option
					DUAL SOUND : MONO

	TREBLE	decrease higher-pitched sound			increase higher-pitched sound
	BASS	decrease lower-pitched sound			increase lower-pitched sound
	DUAL SOUND	Press B or b to select “MONO” or “STEREO” for a stereo broadcast,
		or “MONO,” “A” or “B” for a bilingual broadcast cyclically.
		MONO/STEREO: Select “STEREO” or “MONO” for a stereo

broadcast.

MONO/A/B: Select “A” for sound channel 1, “B” for sound channel 2 or “MONO” for monaural channel if available.

Notes

•If the signal is very weak, the sound becomes monaural automatically.

•If the stereo sound is noisy when receiving a NICAM programme, select “MONO.” The sound becomes monaural, but the noise is reduced.

Select “RESET” and press OK to reset the sound to the factory preset settings.

To return to the normal screen

Press MENU.
