Setting the digital setup menu
The Digital Setup menu allows you to set three options for digital channels.

1. Press the MENU button on the remote control to display the menu on the TV screen.
2. Press the V or v buttons to select the 
symbol on the menu screen then press the b button to enter the ‘PRESET’ menu.
3. Press the V or v buttons to select ‘Digital Setup’ then
press the b button to enter the ‘DIGITAL SETUP’ menu.
4.Press the V or v buttons to choose the option you wish to alter, then press the b or B buttons to change the present setting.
The options and their effects are explained in the table below.
5.Press the OK button to confirm your selection.
6.Press the MENU button to remove the menu from the TV screen.

Digital Signal | Set to RGB or Composite. Choose the option that gives you the |
| picture quality you prefer. |

Digital Subtitles | Selects the language to be displayed when viewing subtitles. You can |
| choose from English, Welsh or Gaelic (when transmitted by |
| broadcaster). |

|
Software Download | Periodically the software may be updated. When notified by the |
| broadcasting authorities or Sony, set this option to enabled and the new |
| software will be downloaded automatically. |
