Using the Audio Menu

To select the Audio Menu

1Press MENU.

2Use the joystick to move to the

Audio icon and press .

3Use the joystick to scroll up and down through the options.

4Press to select an option. That option’s settings appear.

5Use the joystick to scroll through the settings.

6Press to select the desired setting.

7Press MENU to exit the menu screen.

The TV set has a Standby/Stereo LED. The LED flashes when the set is first turned on. It glows steadily when:

The TV is standing by for a command (no picture on screen);

A program has stereo sound

Selecting Audio Options

zAs a shortcut to using the

menus, use the button on the remote control to access the Steady Sound function.

To restore the factory default settings for Treble, Bass, and Balance

Press RESET on the remote control when in the Audio menu.

The Audio Menu includes the following options:

Option

Description

Treble

Adjust to decrease or increase higher-pitched sounds.

Bass

Adjust to decrease or increase lower-pitched sounds.

Balance

Adjust to emphasize left or right speaker balance.

Steady Sound

ON

Select to stabilize the volume.

 

 

OFF

Select to turn off Steady Sound.

 

Effect

Simulated

Adds a surround-like effect to mono programs.

 

 

SRS

Produces a dynamic three-dimensional sound

 

 

 

for stereo signals.

 

 

 

 

 

 

OFF

Normal stereo or mono reception.
