When to change the batteries
When the batteries become weak, the access lamp quickly flashes in red (at intervals of about 0.25 seconds). Replace all four batteries with new ones.
Notes•Do not use the manganese dry batteries.•The battery life may be shorter due to the temperature of the location operating condition, or the type of alkaline dry battery being used.

PrecautionsOn handling
•Do not place the memory card reader in the following places:—An extremely hot place (over +60°C (+140°F))—A place exposed to direct sunlight or near a heater—In a damp place such as a bathroom—In a car with the windows rolled up (especially in the summer)—In a dusty place—Near a source of electromagnetic fields such as a magnet, speaker, or TV•Do not drop or bump the memory card reader. This may cause the memory card reader to malfunction.
•Prevent dust, garbage, etc. going into slots.On cleaning
After wiping the memory card reader casing with a soft cloth slightly moistened with water, wipe it again with a dry cloth. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder or solvent such as alcohol or benzene as this may mar the finish on the casing.

The access lamp light up in green when a copy is completed normally. A power is automatically turned off after about 10 seconds of the completion of a copy.
The “MCMDxxx” folder is automatically created on the disc, and whole data stored in a memory card are copied into the “MCMDxxx” folder as they are.

SicherheitsmaßnahmenUmgang mit dem Gerät
•Stellen Sie den Speicherkartenleser nicht an einen Ort, an dem er folgenden Bedingungen ausgesetzt ist:
—extremer Hitze (über +60 °C)—direktem Sonnenlicht oder Wärme von einer Heizung in der Nähe—Feuchtigkeit, wie z. B. in einem Badezimmer—Hitze in einem Auto mit geschlossenen Fenstern (besonders im Sommer)—Staub—nahe gelegenen elektromagnetischen Feldern, z. B. von einem Magneten, Lautsprecher oder Fernsehgerät
•Lassen Sie den Speicherkartenleser nicht herunterfallen und schützen Sie ihn vor Stößen. Andernfalls kann es am Speicherkartenleser zu einer Fehlfunktion kommen.
•Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Staub, Schmutz usw. in die Einschübe gelangt.Reinigung
Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse des Speicherkartenlesers zunächst mit einem weichen Tuch, das Sie leicht mit Wasser angefeuchtet haben, und wischen Sie dann mit einem trockenen Tuch nach. Verwenden Sie keine Scheuerschwämme, Scheuermittel oder Lösungsmittel wie Alkohol oder Benzin. Diese könnten das Gehäuse angreifen.

Wenn die Batterien schwach werden, blinkt die Zugriffsanzeige schnell und rot (in Intervallen von etwa 0,25 Sekunden). Tauschen Sie alle vier Batterien gegen neue aus.
Gehen Sie beim Einsetzen einer Speicherkarte bitte unbedingt folgendermaßen vor.
Die Anschlussseite der Speicherkarte muss beim Einsetzen auf den Einschub weisen. Drücken Sie die Speicherkarte bis zum Anschlag in den Einschub hinein.
Setzen Sie die Speicherkarte mit der Vorderseite nach oben ein.

Wenn die Speicherkarte bis zum Anschlag im Einschub sitzt, befindet sie sich im vorstehenden Teil des Speicherkartenschutzes (siehe Abb.
Setzen Sie die Speicherkarte mit der Vorderseite nach unten ein.
•CompactDer Speicherkartenleser wird eingeschaltet und der Kopiervorgang startet (die Zugriffsanzeige blinkt grün).
Die Zugriffsanzeige leuchtet grün auf, wenn der Kopiervorgang ordnungsgemäß abgeschlossen wurde. Das Gerät schaltet sich etwa 10 Sekunden nach Beendigung des Kopiervorgangs automatisch aus.
Auf der MD wird automatisch der Ordner „MCMDxxx“ erstellt und alle Daten auf der Speicherkarte werden unverändert in den Ordner „MCMDxxx“ kopiert.
Sie können bis zu 510 Ordner erstellen.5Drücken Sie bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät die Taste CHECK, um das Ergebnis zu überprüfen.
Wenn der Kopiervorgang ordnungsgemäß abgeschlossen wurde, leuchtet die Zugriffsanzeige grün auf.
Wenn die Zugriffsanzeige rot leuchtet, führen Sie den Kopiervorgang erneut aus (siehe „Hinweis zur Zugriffsanzeige“).
