Using the display

You can check the remaining time of the current track or the entire CD. When a CD- TEXT disc is loaded, you can also check the information recorded on the disc, such as the titles.

Checking the remaining timePress DISPLAY repeatedly during normal play.

Each time you press the button, the display changes cyclically as follows:

Elapsed playing time of the current track t Remaining time of the current track* t Remaining time of the disc** t Track title (CD-TEXT disc only) t Clock display t Effect status

*“––.––”appears when you check the remaining time of a CD track whose number is 21 or over.

**“––.––”appears during Shuffle Play of a CD which has 21 or more tracks, or during Programme Play when a CD track whose number is 21 or over is selected. “––.––”also appears when either

“ ALL DISCS” , “ ALL DISCS SHUF” , “ 1 DISC SHUF” or “ PGM” is displayed (see page 10).

Checking the total playing timePress DISPLAY repeatedly in stop mode.

Each time you press the button, the display changes cyclically as follows:

TOC display*1 t Disc Memo or Disc title*2

tClock display t Effect status

*1 TOC = Table of Contents; displays current disc number, total number of tracks on the disc, and total playing time of the disc

*2 For labeled CD or CD with CD-TEXT Depending on the disc, some CD-TEXT information may not appears.
