Message Meaning and Remedy
High temp.! Lamp off in 1
min. The internal temperature is too high.
cTurn off the power.
cCheck to see that nothing is blocking the ventilation holes.
Frequency is out of range! • This input signal cannot be projected as the frequency is out of the
acceptable range of the projector.
• The resolution setting of the output signal of the comput er is too
high.
cInput a signal that is within the range of the frequency.
Please check Input-A
Signal Sel. You have input an RGB signal from the computer when “Input-A
Signal Sel.” in the Setup menu is set to “Component.”
cSet “Input-A Signal Sel.” correctly (see page 41).
Please replace the Lamp. • It is time to replace the lamp.
cReplace the lamp (see page49).
• If this message appears again after you replace the la mp, the lamp
replacement process is not complete.
cPerform the operations in step 9 to 13 on page 50.
To erase a message, press any key on the control panel of the
projector or on the remote commander.
Please clean the filter. It is time to clean the filter.
cClean the filter (see page51).
To cancel the message, press any key on the remote commander or
the control panel of the main unit. T he message is displayed twic e,
including when the unit is started next time.
Projector temperature is
high. High Altitude Mode
should be “On” if the
projector is being used at
high altitude.
Internal temperature is too high.
cWhen using the projector at an altitude of 1,500 m or higher, set
“High Altitude Mode” on the Setup menu to “On” (see
page40).
cIf this message appears on the screen when using the projector
at normal altitudes, check to see if anything is blocking the
ventilation holes (exhaust) (see page 16).
Out of projection angle.
Power off in 1min. The installation angle is outside the proper range.
cRestore the condition of placement on the floor (see page 12).
