CONNECTIONS

Before connecting the AC cord

The rated voltage of your unit shown on the rear panel is 120 V AC. Check that the rated voltage matches your local voltage.

IMPORTANT

Connect the speakers, antennas, and all optional equipment first. Then connect the AC cord.

Positioning the Speakers

In addition to the left and right main speakers, this unit comes with two Satellite Speakers for Aiwa’s unique 3-AMP PANORAMA SOUND SYSTEM (page 10).

To achieve the optimum effect obtainable with the 3-Amp Panorama Sound System, position the satellite speakers so that they form an equilateral triangle with the listener, as seen in the illustration below.

1Connect the right speaker to the main unit.

1Connect the speaker cord with the plug to the SPEAKERS HIGH FREQ R terminal.

2Connect the speaker cord with the white stripe to the SPEAKERS LOW FREQ R 0terminal and the black cord to the 9 terminal.
