4Follow steps 8 and 9 of “To install a memory module.”
To install a memory module
1Shut down your computer and disconnect all peripheral devices, such as your
printer.
2Unplug the computer and remove the battery packs.
3Wait until the computer cools down. Then remove the screw at the bottom of
your computer.

✍Remove the screw with a screwdriver of a proper size.
1 Pull the tabs in the direction of the arrows.
The memory module is released.
2 Pull the memory module in the direction of the arr ow.
