About the Side Panels

The side panels of your computer contain the connections for supplied and optional accessories. The icons on the side panels help you locate and identify the connections on your computer.

Right panel

1CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive eject button Ejects a disc from the combination optical drive.

2CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive

Reads data from compatible DVD or CD media. Writes data to a CD-RW or CD-R media.

3Memory Stick® media slot

Reads and writes data from a Memory Stick media.

4PC Card slot

A PC Card (PCMCIA Card) can be inserted into this slot to increase your computer's functional capabilities.
