Labelling a disc

+RW -RWVR-RWVideo+R -R

A disc is automatically labelled as its disc type. You can change the disc name (up to 21 characters).

1 Insert a disc.

2 Press SET UP to turn on the Setup Display. 3 Select [Disc Info] and press ,.

4 Select [Disc Name] and press ,.

5 While [Edit] is selected, press ENTER.

The display for entering characters appears. To enter characters, see page 32.

Note

Label the disc before you finalize it. Once a disc is finalized, you cannot change the disc name.

Protecting a Disc

+RW -RWVR+R

You can protect all titles on the disc to prevent accidental recording, editing, or erasing.

1 Insert a disc.

2 Press SET UP to turn on the Setup Display. 3 Select [Disc Info] and press ,.

4 Select [Protect] and press ,.

5 Select [On] and press ENTER.To cancel the protection

Repeat the steps above, and select [Off] and press ENTER in step 5.
