Unpacking

Check that you have received the following items with the unit:

• Remote commander

• Aerial cable

	• Plug adaptor
• R6 (Size AA) batteries	(SLV-XA17ME/XA37ME only)

Checking your model name

The instructions in this manual are for the 4 models: SLV-XA17ME, XA17SG, XA37ME, and XA37SG. Check your model number by looking at the rear panel of your unit. The SLV-XA37ME is the model used for illustration purposes. Any difference in operation is clearly indicated in the text, for example, “SLV-XA17ME only.”
