Installing the Batteries

Open the battery compartment lid and insert two R6 (size AA) batteries (not supplied) with the correct polarity.

When to Replace the BatteriesReplace the batteries when “LOW BATTERY” is displayed.Notes

•Insert the batteries with correct polarity.

•The dry batteries cannot be charged.

•Turn off the radio, and then replace the batteries within 20 seconds after the batteries are removed from the battery compartment. Otherwise, the information that has been saved and the preset stations will be erased. In this case, preset the stations again. Be sure to take note of your important data that is saved in the memory.

•When you are not going to use your unit for an extended period of time, remove the batteries to prevent possible damage from battery leakage and corrosion.
