Using the Sleep Timer

You can set the receiver to turn off automatically at a specified time by using the remote.

For details, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the remote.

Models of area code U, CA

Use the supplied remote RM-PG411.

1 Press ALT.

2 Press SLEEP while the power is on.

Each time you select SLEEP, the display changes cyclically as follows:

2:00:00 t 1:30:00 t 1:00:00 t 0:30:00 t

OFF

While using Sleep Timer, “SLEEP” lights up in the display.

Models of other area codes

Use the supplied remote RM-LP211.

Select SLEEP from the RECEIVER menu repeatedly while the power is on.

Each time you select SLEEP, the display changes cyclically as follows:

2:00:00 t 1:30:00 t 1:00:00 t 0:30:00 t

OFF

While using Sleep Timer, “SLEEP” lights up in the display.

Models of area code SP, KR, E only

You can also use the SLEEP button on the receiver.

Tip

To check the remaining time before the receiver turns off, touch or press SLEEP. The remaining time appears in the display.

Selecting the speakersystem

(Models of area code U, CA, CEL, CEK, SP, KR only)

Set the SPEAKERS switch according to the front speakers you want to drive.

*Be sure to connect front speakers with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms or higher if you want to select

both sets of front speakers (A+B). In this case, set the IMPEDANCE SELECTOR to “4”.

Models of area code E only

Use the SPEAKERS switch to turn the speaker output OFF or ON.
