About This Manual

The instructions in this manual are for models TA-FE910R, FE710R, FE610R, FE510R, FE310R, and FE210. Check your model number by looking at the rear panel of your amplifier. The TA- FE910R is the model used for illustration purposes unless stated otherwise.

Any difference in operation is clearly indicated in the text, for example, “TA- FE910R/FE710R/FE610R only.”

Check that you have received the following supplied items:

Remote commander (remote) (1)

For TA-FE910R/FE710R/FE610R: RM-S316

For TA-FE510R/FE310R: RM-S315

Sony batteries SUM-3 (NS) (2)

Inserting batteries into the remote

Insert two size-AA (R6) batteries, matching the + and – on the batteries with the markings inside the battery compartment. When using the remote, point it at the remote control sensor gon the amplifier.

zWhen to replace batteries

With normal use, the batteries should last for about 6 months. When the remote no longer operates the amplifier, replace all the batteries.

Notes

Do not leave the remote near an extremely hot or humid place.

Do not drop any foreign object into the remote casing, particularly when replacing the batteries.

Do not expose the remote sensor to direct sunlight or lighting equipment. Doing so may cause a malfunction.

If you don’t use the remote for an extended period of time, remove the batteries to avoid possible damage from battery leakage and corrosion.
