How do I delete the recovery partition?Follow these steps to delete the recovery partition:

1Insert the recovery disc into the optical disc drive while your computer is on, turn off the computer, and then turn it on once again.

If you are using an external optical disc drive, press the F11 key when the VAIO logo appears during the startup process. The System Recovery Options window appears.

Use the recovery disc you created upon delivery of your computer.

2Select your keyboard layout from the drop-down list and click Next.3Select your operating system and click Next.4Click VAIO Recovery Utility.The Recovery Wizard window appears.5Click Next.6Click Yes.7Click Next.8Select Change partition size before recovering and click Next.9Select Delete Recovery Partition and click Next.10Follow the on-screen instructions.

The above procedure involves system recovery. Note that the applications and data you added on the primary storage device (the built-in flash memory storage or hard disk drive) before deleting the recovery partition will all be lost. Once you have deleted the recovery partition, you need the recovery disc for later system recovery.
