Using the Wireless WAN

Using the wireless WAN allows your computer to connect to th e Internet through the wireless network wherever there is the

mobile phone coverage.

The wireless WAN may not be available in some countries or reg ions.

Some features and options in this section may not be available on your comput er.

See the specifications to find out about the configuration of yo ur computer.

You cannot access wireless networks if you disable the wireless devices in the BIO S setup screen. To enable the devices, follow the steps in Disabling

Built-in Devices (page 135).

Inserting a SIM Card

Your SIM card is preinstalled on your computer at the tim e of delivery. To use the wireless WAN function, see Starting the

Wireless WAN Communications (page 78). If you need to replace the SIM card, follow the steps in To insert a S IM card

(page 75).
