Supported le formats are as follows:
MP3: le extension “.mp3”
WMA: le extension “.wma”
AAC: le extension “.m4a”
MPEG4: le extension “.mp4” or “.avi
MPEG2/MPEG1: le extension “.mpg” or
“.avi”
Motion JPEG: le extension “.avi”
JPEG: le extension “.jpg” or “.jpeg”
Note that even when le names have the
above le extensions, if the actual les
dier, the system cannot play those les, or
playback problems occur even if you could
play les. Especially, such audio les and
audio data in video les may generate a
loud noise which could damage the speaker
system and the system may malfunction.
e following situations can increase the
time it takes to start playback:
les and folders recorded on the USB
device or memory card with a complicated
tree structure.
when the les in another folder have just
been played back.
when you play back AAC les.
Playback of MP3 les may take time
depending on the encoding soware used to
create the MP3 les.
e system can play back to a depth of
8 folders only.
Resume play back is cancelled when you
change the function.
e system does not necessarily support all
the functions of USB device or memory card.
e playback order of les and folders for the
system may dier from the original order of
their creation on the USB device or memory
card.
Folders that have no MP3/WMA/AAC audio
les, video les, JPEG image les are skipped
during playback.

To select the memory on the USB

device

If the USB device has more than one
memory (for example, internal memory
and a memory card), you can select
which memory to use and then start
playback.
You cannot select a memory during
playback. Make sure to select a memory
before starting playback.
