Supported le formats are as follows:
MP3: le extension “.mp3”
WMA: le extension “.wma”
AAC: le extension “.m4a”
MPEG4: le extension “.mp4” or “.avi”
MPEG2/MPEG1: le extension “.mpg” or
“.avi”
Motion JPEG: le extension “.avi”
JPEG: le extension “.jpg” or “.jpeg”
Note that even when le names have the
above le extensions, if the actual les
dier, the system cannot play those les, or
playback problems occur even if you could
play les. Especially, such audio les and
audio data in video les may generate a
loud noise which could damage the speaker
system and the system may malfunction.
e following situations can increase the
time it takes to start playback:
les and folders recorded on the USB
device or memory card with a complicated
tree structure.
when the les in another folder have just
been played back.
when you play back AAC les.
Playback of MP3 les may take time
depending on the encoding soware used to
create the MP3 les.
e system can play back to a depth of
8 folders only.
Resume play back is cancelled when you
change the function.
e system does not necessarily support all
the functions of USB device or memory card.
e playback order of les and folders for the
system may dier from the original order of
their creation on the USB device or memory
card.
Folders that have no MP3/WMA/AAC audio
les, video les, JPEG image les are skipped
during playback.
To select the memory on the USB
device
If the USB device has more than one
memory (for example, internal memory
and a memory card), you can select
which memory to use and then start
playback.
You cannot select a memory during
playback. Make sure to select a memory
before starting playback.
