使用上のご注意
充電・充電式電池について
•お買い上げ時や長い間使わなかった充電式電池は、持続時間が短いことがあります。 これは電池の特性によるもので、数回使えば充分充電されるようになります。
•充電が終わったら、早めに充電器をコンセントから抜いてください。長時間差した ままにすると、電池の性能を低下させることがあります。
•充電中は充電器や充電式電池が熱くなりますが、危険はありません。
•充電式電池を持ち運ぶときは、付属の充電池ケースに入れてください。ケースに入 れずに、キーホルダーなどの金属類と一緒にポケットなどに入れると、電池の＋と －がショートして危険です。
日本国内での充電式電池の廃棄について
このマークはニカド電池のリサイクルマークです。
この製品は、ニカド電池を使用しています。ニカド電池はリサイクルできる貴重な資 源です。ニカド電池の交換および、ご使用済みの製品の廃棄に際しては、ニカド電池 を取り出し、金属部にセロハンテープなどの絶縁テープを貼ってニカド電池リサイク ル協力店へご持参ください。
海外での充電式電池の廃棄について
各国での法規制にしたがって廃棄してください。
取り扱いについて
•落としたり、強いショックを与えたりしないでください。故障の原因になります。
•ヘッドホンのコードを強く引っぱらないでください。
•次のような場所には置かないでください。 ー温度が非常に高いところ (60℃以上)。 ー直射日光のあたる場所や暖房器具の近く。 ー窓を閉めきった自動車内 (特に夏季)。
ー風呂場など湿気の多いところ。
ー磁石、スピーカー、テレビなど磁気を帯びたものの近く。 ーほこりの多いところ。
•湿度が高いところ (40℃以上) や低いところ (0℃以下) では液晶表示が見にくくなった り、表示の変わりかたがゆっくりになることがあります。常温になればもとに戻ります。
•長い間本機を使わなかったときは、お使いになる前に数分間再生状態にして空回し してください。
•長時間テープについて
90分をこえるテープは非常に薄く伸びやすいので、こきざみな走行、停止、早送り、 巻き戻しなどを繰り返さないでください。テープが機械に巻き込まれる場合があります。
ヘッドホンについて
付属のヘッドホンは、音量を上げすぎると音が外に漏れます。音量を上げすぎて、ま わりの人の迷惑にならないように気をつけましょう。
雑音の多いところでは音量を上げてしまいがちですが、ヘッドホンで聞くときはいつ も呼びかけられて返事ができるくらいの音量を目安にしてください。
ワイヤレスレシーバーについて
本体とワイヤレスレシーバーの間では次のようなやりとりをしています。 （1）レシーバーから本体へ操作指示を送る
（2）本体からレシーバーへ音と動作情報を送る
電波でやりとりしていますので、ワイヤレスレシーバーを使う際には次のことにご注 意ください。
•飛行機内では、通信電波などを乱すおそれがありますのでコード付きヘッドホンで お聞きください。（本体にコード付きのヘッドホンをつなぐとレシーバーは使えなく なります。）
•金属物に近づけないでください。また、金属ラベルのテープは使わないでくださ い。受信の感度が悪くなり、雑音が入ったり、音が悪くなったりします。
•本体の上にレシーバーをのせないでください。受信状態が悪くなることがあります。
•本体とレシーバーは約1m以内の距離でお使いください。
•次のような所では、受信状態が悪くなることがありますので、本体とレシーバーを 近づけてお使いください。
－コンピューター、ワープロ周辺の電気ノイズの大きい所。
－テレビ塔、ラジオ塔の近くなど電波の強い所。
－車内、電車内。
－ラジオやワイヤレスウォークマンを聞いている人の近く。
•レシーバーのコードは束ねずに、延ばしてお使いください。
•受信状態が悪いときは、本体の向きを変えてみてください。
•雑音の多いところでは、液晶表示が安定しないことがあります。そのようなとき は、本体やレシーバーの向きを変えてみてください。
•受信状態が悪く、「– – –
付属のワイヤレスレシーバーは本機専用です。
万一故障した場合は、内部を開けずにお買い上げ店またはソニーサービス窓口にご相談 ください。その際、必ず本体とレシーバーの両方をお持ちください。

本体が何らかの原因によりレシーバーからの命令を認識できない状態になっていま す。以下の手順を行って本体にレシーバーの番号を再認識させてください。
1本体、レシーバーともに充分に充電された充電式電池を入れる（または新しい乾電 池を入れる）。
2本体のWIRELESS ON/OFFスイッチをONにする。3本体のpボタンを押したままREW•AMSボタンを押し、BATTランプがついたこと を確認してからさらにレシーバーのÏ•REPEATボタンを押す。
4本体のBATTランプが消え、レシーバーに4桁の数字が表示されたらボタンを離 す。
これでレシーバーの番号が本体に認識されました。上記の手順を行ってもレシーバーが 使えない場合は、「保証書とアフターサービス」をご参照ください。

Choosing a Power Source
Dry Batteries
Main unitAttach the battery case to the Walkman, and then insert one R6 (size AA) battery (supplied) with the correct polarity.

Playing a Tape
