HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) provides an uncompressed, all-digital

 

audio/video interface between this TV and any HDMI-equipped audio/video equipment,

 

such as a set-top box, DVD player, Blu-ray Disc Player as well as A/V receiver. HDMI

 

supports enhanced, or high-definition video, plus digital audio.

You can view 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p formats with an HDMI connection. Note that this TV displays all video input signals in a resolution of 960 dots × 540 lines.

Be sure to use only an HDMI cable that bears the HDMI logo.

2DMex/ SERVICE This USB port is for service only unless you are connecting the optional BRAVIA external module (DMex).

3 DC IN

Connects the supplied AC power adapter.

4Memory Stick slot For inserting Memory Stick media to view on TV. For details, see “Using Memory Stick Media” on page 26.

ACCESS LED located above the Memory Stick slot blinks while Memory Stick is accessed.

5VHF/UHF/CABLE RF input that connects to your Cable or VHF/UHF antenna.

6Headphone jack/ Connects to your headphones or the optical audio input of your digital audio equipment DIGITAL AUDIO that is PCM/Dolby Digital compatible. If your headphones or the optical audio input of OUT (OPTICAL) your digital audio equipment do not match the jack, use a suitable plug adapter (not

supplied).
