Getting Started
Resetting the car audio unit
Before operating the HD Radio tuner for the Þrst time, reset the car audio unit. If the car audio unit is not reset, it may not function properly. For details on how to reset it, refer to the Operating Instructions of the car audio unit.
NoteResetting the car audio unit will erase the clock setting and some stored contents of the car audio unit.
Operations
Listening to a program
The HD Radio tuner is controlled by the car audio unit. Operations vary with different car audio models. Please refer to the Operating Instructions of the car audio unit.

In HD Radio, some FM stations provide a main program and supplemental program(s) (up to 7) at the same frequency.
The following display appears when a station with supplemental program is received while a station name is displayed.

–HD: Receiving digital FM/AM broadcasting without supplemental program–HD1: Receiving a main program of digital FM broadcasting with supplemental program
