Chapter 4 - Precautions for Use

To maintain the high quality performance from your SPIRIT do not use the unit in areas of extreme heat, cold, dust or humidity. In particular, do not keep the unit in a high humidity area such as a bathroom, near a radiator or in an area exposed to direct sunlight (such as in a parked car).

As the SPIRIT contains a HDD that can be damaged and cause loss of data, do not drop the SPIRIT player, or expose it to excessive vibration and avoid any impacts onto hard surfaces. Do not use the unit while engaged in exercise, which will shake or jog the player repeatedly.

Do not use any chemicals to clean the outside of the player, simply wipe with a damp cloth.

The SPIRIT contains no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open the case of the SPIRIT, as this will void your warranty.
