Many household accidents occur in the shower or t ub.
to reduce the incidence, always follow these safety precautions:
1. Read these instructions completely before installing and using this showerh ead. Use
only as directed and with attachm ents and accessories sold by Sunbea m Products, Inc.
2. Do not direct sprays on sensitive parts of the bo dy such as eyes and ears. Consult
a physician before using on severely swollen or sensitive area s, or using to relieve
unexplained pain.
3. Always install non-skid strips or use non-slip bath mat s on slippery surfaces in your
shower or tub to reduce the risk of falling.
4. Always check the water tempera ture before entering the shower to prevent the possibility
of being scalded.
5. Do not allow water to be directed toward or splash on any electric bulbs or h eat lamps,
the glass may shatter
6. Periodically inspect all threaded connections to prevent l eakage and the possibility of
damage or personal injury from loose, wat er-propelled parts.
7. Instruct and supervise children and physically challenged users in the proper us e of this
product.
8. Do not use tub and tile or general purpose cleaners. T hey may cause damage to the
product which may result in personal injury or may da mage the product’s finish.
InstallatIon InstructIons
Your Sunbeam showerhead attache s to any standard 1/2” threaded show er.
Tools: 1) Wrench or pliers,
2) Soft Cloth.
1. Remove your old showerhead from the shower arm with a wrench or pliers, t urning
counterclockwise. Be caref ul not to loosen your shower arm.
note: if your existing shower arM has an integra l ball joint, it Must
be replace with a standard 1/ 2” shower arM. this standard
shower arM is available at Most hardware stores.
2. Remove any old sealing material and clean all debris from the t hreads.
3. Wrap Plumber’s tape evenly clockwis e onto the threads. Do not use pipe compound.
