HowtoconnectOutdoorcamcameratoyourTVorVCR
Step1: AttheendofyourOutdoorcamcameracableyouwillfindtwocoloredplugs:
•Yellow(VideoRCA)
•Black(DCPower)
Step2: Plugthe yellow RCAplug(1)intothe "VideoIn" input(2)(usuallylocatedatthebackofyourTV orVCR).
Step3: Connectthe black plug(3)attheendofyourOutdoorcamcameraintothe black plugattheend ofthe poweradaptor (4).
Step4: Plugthe poweradaptor (5)intothemainspowerpointinyourwall.
Step5: Ifyouhavean A/VTV withRCAsocketsyouwillneedtoswitchthe TV tothe AV channelon your TV toviewthecamera.ToconnecttheOutdoorcamcameratoyour VCR,youwillneedto turnthe VCR tothe A/VInput selectionandturnyour TV ontothechannelyouwouldnormally usetoviewatapeormovieonyour VCR.Thischannelmaybeactivatedbyabuttononyour remotethatismarkedwiththissymbol,or L1 or L2 orpossibly AV1 or AV2.

Mountingthecameraonyourwallorceiling
1.Onceyouhavechosenthebestpositionforthecamera,switchthepowertothe cameraoff,andunplugthepowerleadfromthecamera.
2.WhenmountingtheOutdoorcamcameratoyourceilingorwall,pleaseensurethat
yourotatethecamerasothatatthetopofthecameralensis ‘up’,otherwiseyouwill findthatyourpicturesaredisplayedupsidedown.(seediagram)
3.Holdthecamerabaseinthepositionyouwishtofixit,andmarktheholeswithan appropriatepenorpencil.Oncethisisdone,removethestandanddrillaholewith theappropriatedrillbitforthematerialyouaremountingyourcameratoandthe screwsorfastenersyouareusing.
4.RunthecameracablebacktotheTV/VCR,anyholesthatyoudrillneedtobeatleast 9/16” (14mm)indiametertoallowtheconnectorstopassthrough.
5.Reconnectthepowerleadtothecameraandswitchthecamerapowerbackon.
6.Positionthecameraandfirmlylockthestandintoplace.Donotovertightenor forcefullyadjustthecameraonceithasbeencorrectlypositioned.
