CHAPTER 1 Migrating to Adapter for SAP R/3
Version 3.9
This chapter explains how to migrate data from an existing database used
with a previous version of Adapter for SAP R/3 to a target database.

Process Overview

For Windows, Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX, the following procedures
comprise the migration process:
• Transferring configuration information from the old configuration
files to the new configuration files using Table 1-1 as a guide f or key
mapping.
• Running the IDoc format conversion tool (if applicable)
• Loading BAPI formats using the 3.9 adapter and map fields
