Transmit Buffer
To transmit the buffer, read a symbol containing either the first or second condition:
1. Only a start character, a plus (+), and a stop character.
tThe unit signals that the transmission buffer has been sent (a lo/hi beep).
tUnit sends the buffer.
tUnit clears the buffer.
TRANSMIT BUFFER
2. A Code 39 bar code with leading character other than a space.
tThe unit signals a good decode and buffering of that decode has occurred by giving
a hi/lo beep.
tUnit transmits the buffer.
tUnit signals that the buffer has been transmitted with a lo/hi beep.
Overfilling Transmission Buffer
If the symbol just read results in an overflow of the transmission buffer:
tUnit indicates that the symbol has been rejected by issuing three long, high beeps.
tNo transmission occurs. Data in buffer is not affected.
Attempt to Transmit an Empty Buffer
If the symbol just read was the transmit buffer symbol and the Code 39 buffer is empty:
tA short lo/hi/lo beep signals that the buffer is empty.
tNo transmission occurs.
tThe buffer remains empty.
