message server exists, you can receive all the settings for MMS automatically from your network operator at www.vodafone.com, or at www.sonyericsson.com/support.

The address of your message server and an Internet profile are set.

To check the MMS settings

1From standby select Menu > Settings > the Connectivity tab > Message settings > MMS > MMS profile.

2Scroll to a profile and select Options > Edit.

To write and send a message

1From standby select Menu > Messaging > Create new > Message.

2Write the message or select > Options > Add symbol.

3Scroll to use toolbar options. Scroll or or to select an option.

4Select Continue. (You can save a message for later in Drafts by pressing and select Save message).

5Select Contacts look-up.

6Select a recipient and select Send. A message automatically converts from being a text message (SMS) to a picture message (MMS) if you use toolbar options such as adding

pictures, sounds or more. If you use text only, the message stays as a text message.

To copy and paste text in a message

1When you write your message select Options > Copy & paste.

2Select Copy all or > Mark & copy. Scroll to and mark text in the message.

3Select Options > Copy & paste > Paste.

To edit an item in a message

1When you write a message select the item to edit and select Options.

2Select an option.

To delete a message

1From standby select Menu > Messaging and select a folder.

2Select the message to delete and select Options > Delete.

To set text message (SMS) options

1From standby select Menu > Settings

>the Connectivity settings tab

>Message settings > SMS.

2Scroll to an option and select Edit.

As part of Vodafone live! you can have a message with picture and text delivered as a postcard to a street address.
