4Turn the mouse over and rotate the mouse ball retainer counter-clockwise until it’s loose.

5 Remove the retainer and the mouse ball.

6Clean the mouse ball and the two black rollers inside the mouse using a lint-free cloth or cotton swab and rubbing alcohol.
